After a dramatic final regulation round of the Allianz Football league the pairings for the four divisional finals are now decided.

Connacht rivals Mayo and Galway will contest the Allianz Football League Division 1 Final.

Mayo were already guaranteed their berth, and Galway’s 1-13 to 0-14 victory over Kerry today ensured they’ll provide the opposition next weekend.

Armagh have been relegated along with Donegal. Their 0-18 to 0-16 defeat to Tyrone and Monaghan’s 2-14 to 0-14 win over Mayo mean the Orchard County went down and the Farney County survived.

Donegal needed a miracle to avoid relegation coming into today’s Final round, and they never looked likely of pulling it off as they fell to a heavy 0-21 to 0-9 defeat to Roscommon.

Dublin and Derry have been promoted to Division 1 and will contest the Division 2 Final. Derry were already assured of their place even before today’s 1-14 apiece draw with Cork, and Dublin clinched their place with a convincing 1-16 to 0-16 win over Louth.

Clare and Limerick were already relegated before today’s final round and will be replaced in Division 2 by Cavan and Fermanagh who will contest the Division 3 Final.

The same two teams also played one another in today’s final round and Fermanagh’s 1-14 to 2-9 victory ensured they were both promoted as Cavan pipped third placed Down on the head to head rule as they’d beaten them in the earlier rounds.

Tipperary and Longford were already resigned to relegation from Division 3 before today’s final round and will be replaced by Sligo and Wicklow who have been promoted from Division 4.

Sligo’s 1-15 to 2-11 win over Leitrim saw them top the group, while Wicklow’s 2-8 to 0-8 win over Waterford today ensured they pipped Laois on the head to head rule.
