1918 Gaelic Sunday Statement

Statement issued by the GAA to organise a series of matches throughout the country on August 4, 1918, later known as ‘Gaelic Sunday’. The GAA forbade any club or member of the Association to comply with the British authorities’ decision according which a permit had to be obtained in order to play a game.
