Let the Games Begin! A packed schedule of GAA live television coverage awaits this weekend as the 2026 Allianz Football and Hurling Leagues throws-in, and with heavyweight clashes happening in both codes and on both days.

Saturday’s action begins on TG4 with a Division 1 Football encounter as Dublin host Donegal at Croke Park at 5pm. It is the full-blooded start of the Ger Brennan era as Dublin football boss and their matches agaisnt Jim McGuinness's Donegal have always been somethign to savour. Earlier in the day, the Division 2 clash of Meath and Derry at Croke Park will be available to watch on the TG4 Player at 3pm. With Páirc Tailteann under redevelopment, the Royals are back on the Croke Park stage they helped to throng for their semi-final joust with Donegal last summer. Derry meanwhile, start their new league era under Ciarán Meenagh. From Omagh, GAA+ will stream Tyrone’s Division 2 meeting with Kildare at 6pm as the Lilywhites bid to make it back to the top table after winning the Tailteann Cup last summer, and the Red Hand looking to blend in the new talent they have produced in recent seasons.

RTÉ will round off the evening with the Allianz Hurling League Division 1A clash between Tipperary and Galway at 7pm. Tipperary were last year's beaten division 1 finalsits, who regrouped to come back and win the Liam MacCarthy Cup and they will look to stay on winning ways against the recently crowned Walsh Cup champs.

Sunday brings more action, including a Division 1 Connacht meeting as Galway face Mayo in Salthill, live on TG4 at 1.45pm and all the promise that these great rivals bring out of each other. The TG4 Player / App will also show defending champions Kerry welcoming promoted Roscommon to Killarney at 2pm. What an incredible 10 months it has been for Kerry football - winning the league, Championship and all three club championship crowns.

Also at 2pm, GAA+ will stream the Division 1 Football clash of Monaghan v Armagh in Clones, as Gabriel Bannigan begins his second season hosting the 2024 All-Ireland champs, before TG4 returns with its second live broadcast of the day as defending Allianz league and Munster champs Cork take on Waterford in Division 1A of the Allianz Hurling League at Páirc Uí Chaoimh at 3.45pm.
