TG4 will broadcast two huge knock-out club football championship matches on Sunday.
First up at 2pm is the Armagh SFC preliminary quarter-final between Clan na Gael and Crossmaglen Rangers.
The form-line favours Clan na Gael. They were unbeaten in the group phase with two draws and a win whereas Crossmaglen were beaten by both Dromintee and reigning champions Madden.
There were some positives to take from that loss to Madden last weekend, though.
Brothers Rian and Oisín O’Neill were brought on at half-time and made big contributions with Oisín scoring five points and Rian showing his class still endures with a spectacular two-point free.
With the stakes so high on Sunday, you’d imagine both are likely to be throw into the fray from the start.
If Crossmaglen are to find a way to win, they'll have to somehow curb the on-fire Stefan Campbell has scored a whopping 1-21 in his last two matches.
The other three preliminary quarter-finals in Armagh will see champions Madden face Granemore, Carrickcruppen play Maghery, and Cullyhanna play Mullaghbawn.
The second match of the TG4 double-bill on Sunday is a crucial game in the Dublin SFC between Ballymun Kickhams and St. Jude’s in Parnell Park with a throw-in time of 4pm.
It’s the final round of the group phase, but it’s effectively a knock-out game as St. Jude’s need to win to make it through to the quarter-finals whereas a draw will suffice for Ballymun Kickhams.
