Tailteann Cup Round One (May 9-10 or May 16-17)
The draw for Round One of the Tailteann Cup took place on Monday afternoon.
Fermanagh v Longford
Laois v Wicklow
Clare v Offaly
Carlow v Antrim
Wexford v Limerick
TBC (Cavan/Westmeath/Down) v Leitrim
Sligo v Tipperary
Waterford v London
The majority of the Round 1 fixtures will be played on the weekend of May 9th/10th. However, any games involving a team knocked out of their provincial championship on the weekend of May 2nd/3rd will take place on the weekend of May 16th/17th.
Permutations (Westmeath, Down, Cavan)
If Westmeath defeat Kildare in the Leinster SFC, they will compete in the All-Ireland SFC, if they lose, they will be in the Tailteann Cup, regardless of any other result.
If Down defeat Armagh in the Ulster SFC, they will compete in the All-Ireland SFC, if they lose, and Westmeath win, they will be in the Tailteann Cup.
If Westmeath and Down both win next weekend in the provincial championships, Cavan will compete in the Tailteann Cup.
Tailteann Cup Round Two (May 23-24)
Round 2A: The eight winners from R1 will be drawn against each other, with the first team drawn having home venue.
Round 2B: The eight losers from R1 will be drawn against each other, with the first team drawn having home venue.
Tailteann Cup Round Three (June 6-7)
The four losing teams from R2A will be drawn to play the four winning teams from R2B, and a draw will determine home venue. The draw is subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings from R1 where possible
Tailteann Cup Preliminary Quarter-Final (June 6-7)
A R2A winners will be drawn to play New York. This will be a home venue for the R2A winner (exception: if London is the R2A winner, in which case, the game will be played at a neutral venue in Ireland).
Tailteann Cup Quarter-Finals (June 13-14)
The preliminary quarter final winner and the three remaining winners of R2A will be drawn at home against the four winners of R3. The draw will be subject to the avoidance of repeat pairings from R1 and R2, where possible.
Tailteann Cup Semi-Finals (June 20-21)
The four quarter-final winners shall play against each other based on a draw, subject to avoidance of repeat pairings from the championship, where possible.
Tailteann Cup Final (July 11)
The two semi-final winners meet. The winner shall be eligible for the All-Ireland SFC in 2027, regardless of league position.
