The Dicksboro players celebrate their success in the Kilkenny Senior Camogie Final.

Another busy weekend of Camogie club action in the books, as nine counties crowned their senior champions and the provincial contests begin to take shape.

Thurles Sarsfields prevailed in the FBD Insurance Tipperary Championship, defeating Clonoulty-Rossmore 5-11 to 4-10 in Semple Stadium.

‘Sars’ had to hold off a late fightback, as their 12-point advantage was reduced to just four, but they ultimately prevailed.

Elsewhere in Munster, last year’s beaten All-Ireland finalists Truagh Clonlara suffered defeat at the hands of Inagh Kilnamona, 2-14 to 1-14, in the Clare Credit Unions Championship final.

The teams could not be separated in normal time in Zimmer Biomet Páirc Chíosóg, with a Kate Dowling green flag in extra-time helping Inagh Kilnamona to the McMahon Cup.

In the Michael Lyng Motors Kilkenny Championship, Dicksboro atoned for their league final defeat from last month, by defeating Piltown 1-14 to 0-12.

A Rachel Dowling goal proved the difference for Dickboro, as they built a 1-8 to 0-5 lead at the break. Kellyann Doyle led the fight for Piltown, but they were unable to overturn the deficit.

St Vincent’s were comprehensive winners in the Go Ahead Dublin Championship showpiece, overcoming Lucan Sarsfields, 2-15 to 2-4.

The Marino club’s triumph on Friday night in Parnell Park makes it four county titles in a row in the capital.

The Mannok Cavan Championship final was held in Kingspan Breffni on Saturday, with Lacken prevailing against Dewnn, 2-7 to 0-9.

Clonduff ran out 1-15 to 0-10 winners over Portaferry in the Canal Court Down Championship decider, while the Armagh Credit Union Senior Championship final saw Crossmaglen overcome Granemore, 2-13 to 1-14.

Na Fianna defeated Kilmessan, 0-15 to 0-10 in the Bective Stud Meath Championship final, while St Dominic’s are Dermot Hughes Cars Roscommon Championship winners, after edging Oran, 1-7 to 2-3.
