Another hectic weekend of Gaelic Football and Hurling action beckons throughout the country.

GAELIC FOOTBALL

Austin Stack Park provides the backdrop for an eagerly anticipated Kerry Senior Football Club Championship Final on Sunday between Dr Crokes and Na Gaeil.

An emerging force in Tralee, Na Gaeil have enjoyed a productive campaign with Jack Barry, Stefan Okunbor, and Diarmuid O'Connor providing plenty of guile and experience.

Crokes impressed in a semi-final win over Kenmare Shamrocks with Tony Brosnan registering eight points, while Gavin White and Micheal Burns are other prominent figures for the decorated Killarney outfit.

There will be no shortage of drama in Armagh with knockout matches on the agenda including a tasty double header at the BOX-IY Athletic Grounds on Sunday evening.

Killeavy's clash with Mullaghbawn is followed by the meeting of Armagh Harps and Madden.

Errigal Ciarán won a first round clash on Thursday evening in the Tyrone SFC. Dungannon meet Trillick on Saturday with a quarter-final place the significant prize. The other six matches will be worth monitoring too.

Four Cavan SFC quarter-finals are also scheduled for Kingspan Breffni throughout the weekend.

Lively matches are expected in Donegal, including Naomh Conaill's tussle with Killybegs.

Preliminary quarter-finals take place in Galway with Killannin versus Mountbellew-Moylough an attractive fixture.

Quarter-final action is also imminent in Meath, Laois, Longford, and Clare on a busy weekend of action throughout the country.

HURLING

Four preliminary quarter-finals in the Wexford SHC are on the agenda this weekend.

Sunday's double header featuring Shelmaliers versus Ferns St Aidan's and Naomh Eanna against Rapparees promises to be action packed.

In Limerick the group phase concludes ahead of what should be a hard fought knockout stages with a number of clubs believing that glory can be attained.

Na Piarsaigh, managed by Shane O'Neill, meet Patrickswell on Saturday evening at Claughaun.

Out west, the Roscommon and Mayo SHC semi-finals are scheduled, while it is a busy weekend in the capital in the Dublin SHC.
