Eight of the 12 Electric Ireland Fitzgibbon Cup teams will be in action this week.

High stakes matches are set to arrive thick and fast with several outfits believing that silverware can be attained.

Holders UL are away to ATU Galway in Duggan Park on Wednesday.

That Ballinasloe fixture should be interesting with UL's panel including Colin Coughlan, Cian Galvin, Killian Sampson, TJ Brennan, and Mark Rodgers.

ATU Galway will be hoping that Kevin and John Cooney can provide significant inspiration.

The other game on Wednesday is Maynooth University's clash against Mary I.

Shane Meehan, Diarmuid Ryan, and Adam Hogan are all included in the Mary I panel.

Billy Drennan is Maynooth University's star turn, while Conan Boran has been in good form for Naas and Kildare.

On Thursday DCU Dóchas Éireann face SETU Waterford.

Jack Screeney and Richie Lawlor are named in the DCU panel, while SETU Waterford include the exciting Patrick Fitzgerald, Padraig Fitzgerald, and Timmy Clifford.

SETU Carlow's clash against University of Galway will be streamed live on Thursday.

Eoin Cody and Chris Nolan bring plenty of inter-county experience to the SETU Carlow panel.

Gavin Lee, Liam Collins, and Tiernan Killeen are listed in the University of Galway panel.
