Only eight teams remain in the race for the Electric Ireland Sigerson Cup. Undoubtedly, Wednesday evening's quarter-finals will bring plenty of drama.

TUD have enjoyed a productive stint with the Round 2A win over MTU Kerry illustrating their considerable potential with 10 different scorers contributing.

Jordan Morris, Conor Fee, and Seán Hannafin all contributed goals in that TUD success.

Queen's University, managed by Feargal Logan, overcame Ulster University with Ryan McQuillan and Anton Tohill influential figures.

In Belfield, UCD face University of Galway. John Divilly's charges have generated momentum with Theo Clancy and Luke Breathnach supplying plenty of class and experience for the hosts.

Eoin Colleran and Mark McInerney are two crafty forwards for University of Galway, who know a demanding task awaits in the capital.

UL, well organised by David Power, produced a brilliant display when overcoming DCU Dóchas Eireann.

Brian McNamara and Cian McHale are key contributors for UL, who will be aware of Maynooth's threat.

Maynooth, who include Eoin Cully, James Harris and Aaron Browne, led UCD by five before eventually losing a high scoring encounter.

DCU Dóchas Eireann demonstrated resilience when defeating ATU Galway in a tricky match last week that showcased Senan Baker's ability. It was an impressive response following the defeat to UL for a DCU Dóchas Eireann panel featuring Bryan Masterson and Greg McEneaney.

Conor Daly supplied 3-4 when UCC overcame ATU Sligo in Round One, while Paul O'Keeffe's charges subsequently beat Queen's with Michael McSweeney nailing five points.
