The Galway midfielder received 3,319 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Kerry’s David Clifford (2,996) and Clare’s Mark McInerney (1,146)

David Clifford (Kerry)
David Clifford produced another attacking masterclass for Kerry in their Munster SFC Final win over Clare. He finished with a personal tally of 2-5, all but one point of it from play.
Mark McInerney (Clare)
Mark McInerney produced a defiant display for Clare in their Munster SFC Final defeat to Kerry. The livewire attacker kicked six points, three of them from play.
