The Galway midfielder received 2,547 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Kerry's Tom O'Sullivan (2,444) and Mayo's Cillian O'Connor (2,196).

Experienced midfielder Paul Conroy was outstanding in Galway's win over Derry at Pearse Stadium. The St James' clubman kicked three sweet points from play for the Tribesmen.
Tom O'Sullivan (Kerry)
Kerry were always in control against Monaghan at Fitzgerald Stadium with Tom O'Sullivan venturing forward to land three points from play. Jack O'Connor's team dominated in Killarney with O'Sulivan an influential figure.
Cillian O'Connor (Mayo)
Cillian O'Connor contributed four points from play in Mayo's comfortable victory over Cavan. The Ballintubber attacker was a potent threat for Kevin McStay's team.
