The GAA is pleased to announce the creation of new John West GAA Féile competitions designed specifically to support clubs experiencing demographic challenges.

These additional competitions aim to ensure that young players in smaller clubs continue to enjoy meaningful participation in Féile activities, even where player numbers may make entry into traditional formats difficult.

The initiative recognises the commitment of clubs working with limited playing populations and seeks to provide appropriate, competitive opportunities that reflect their circumstances. By introducing tailored Féile structures, the GAA aims to maintain the spirit of inclusion, development, and enjoyment that lies at the heart of Féile competitions.

The new competitions will allow eligible clubs to compete against teams facing similar demographic realities, helping to foster balanced games, encourage participation, and sustain underage Gaelic games in communities where numbers are under pressure.

Further details regarding eligibility criteria, competition structures, and entry procedures will be communicated to counties and clubs in the coming weeks.

This initiative represents an important step in ensuring that every young player, regardless of club size, has the opportunity to experience the unique camaraderie and excitement of Féile competition
