AIB All-Ireland Club JFC Semi-Final

Naomh Pádraig 1-13 Kilmurry 2-10 AET

Naomh Padraig win 3-1 on penalties

Caolan McColgan, Kevin Lynch, and Rory Hirrell netted the penalties that sent Naomh Padraig into the AIB All-Ireland Club JFC Final against An Cheathrú Rua.

The Donegal outfit eventually prevailed at Parnell Park, following an absorbing encounter against Cork's Kilmurry with goalkeeper Oran McCauley a key figure.

Conor Kelleher was Kilmurry's only scorer in the shootout as Naomh Padraig advanced following a gripping game.

Lawrence Aisling pounced for an early goal as Kilmurry led 1-3 to 0-4 at half-time.

It was tight and tense in the second period with Liam Wall edging Kilmurry in front late on, but Kevin Lynch levelled to force extra-time, 0-9 to 1-6.

Rory Duggan struck for a second Kilmurry goal before Lynch replied with a major from a penalty during a dramatic finish.

Penalties were required, and Naomh Padraig did enough to secure a much coveted place in the decider.
