Micheál Donoghue is set to be ratified as manager of the Galway senior hurling team.
The Management Committee of Galway GAA is recommending Donoghue to be put forward for a four year term.
Donoghue, who recently stepped down as Dublin boss, steered Galway to All-Ireland glory in 2017.
A Galway GAA statement said: "We look forward to working closely with Micheál and the management team and wish them all the very best in the years ahead."
