Naomh Moninne 3-15 St Fechins 3-14

Conor Murphy supplied the crucial scores in the closing stages as Naomh Moninne staged a dramatic comeback mission in the Louth SHC Final.

Trailing by seven points late on, Naomh Moninne recovered impressively with Murphy netting a last minute goal to equalise.

Then, Murphy rifled over the decisive point in added time as Naomh Moninne earned a brilliant victory.

Naomh Moninne started brightly with the excellent Murphy blasting a goal.

Paul Mathews replied with two goals for St Fechin's helping them into a 2-12 to 1-9 interval lead.

Ryan Walsh's 53rd minute goal put St Fechin's3-14 to 1-13 clear, but Naomh Moninne battled away.

Substitute Coran Trainor struck a tonic goal, and Murphy's class was evident in the closing stages as Naomh Moninne finished strongly.
