Guaranteed Irish has today launched a campaign entitled ‘Are You in The Guaranteed Irish Club’ calling on its business members who are actively involved in their local GAA club, team or county to take part in a nationwide community reward programme — asking one simple question: Are you in the Guaranteed Irish Club?
The initiative is designed to recognise and reward Guaranteed Irish member businesses that give back to their communities, this year the focus is on the GAA. Four businesses will win €5,000 for their chosen GAA club, a special gift for the club’s under-14 team, and an exclusive photocall at Croke Park.
The campaign reflects Guaranteed Irish’s ongoing commitment to supporting businesses that, in turn, support Ireland’s communities, the GAA plays a vital role in social, sporting and cultural life across the country.
Speaking at the launch, Brid O’Connell, CEO of Guaranteed Irish, said: “We are delighted to be joining forces with the GAA for our new Community initiative in its first year “Are you in the Guaranteed Irish Club” is about recognising the businesses that go beyond commerce and play an active role in strengthening their local communities. Many of our members are already deeply involved with GAA clubs across the country, and this initiative is our way of rewarding that commitment. If you’re a Guaranteed Irish business and involved with the GAA, we want to hear from you — are you in the Club?”
The importance of community impact is underlined by KPMG research published in 2025, which estimates that Guaranteed Irish member businesses collectively contribute €59.3 million towards social value initiatives each year — demonstrating a deep-rooted and sustained commitment to Irish communities nationwide.
Guaranteed Irish is the national symbol of trust, helping consumers and businesses to identify products and services that are better choices for their community and for Ireland. When assessing a business for membership, Guaranteed Irish examines three core areas: jobs, community and provenance. Membership is open to both homegrown and international companies operating in Ireland, across all sectors, with only those meeting the criteria eligible to become licensees.
Uachtarán Chumann Lúthchleas Gael, Jarlath Burns, welcomed the initiative, saying: “The GAA is built on local pride and community spirit, and that closely reflects the values of Guaranteed Irish. The Guaranteed Irish Club shines a light on businesses that support their local clubs and invest in the wellbeing of their communities. It’s a positive and practical way to celebrate the shared values of Irish enterprise and grassroots sport.”
Guaranteed Irish business members who are currently involved with a local GAA club, team or county are encouraged to apply now.
