The GAA reported a healthy consolidated revenue of €142M in 2025 with a consolidated surplus of €3.7M.

Gate receipts of €45.7M – an increase of €6.6M or 17 per cent on 2024 – played a big role in these robust financial figures.

The increase in gate receipts was generated by a 21% increase in inter-county attendance figures with 1.8m spectators coming through the stiles.

This can be largely attributed to success of the Cork hurlers in the National League and the large crowds that turned out for the round robin stages and quarter-finals of the All-Ireland Senior Football Championship.

Croke Park Suite, Premium, and Catering revenues of €44m, an increase of €5m on 2024’s results, were also significant.

For every euro generated, 83 cent was reinvested directly into the development of the Association across clubs, schools, counties, and provinces.

In 2025, €28m was invested in Games Development and Player Welfare, €18.2m was invested in match day and competition costs, €15.2m was invested in Coaching and Games Development, €6.1m went to County grounds redevelopment grants, and almost €5m went to assisting clubs in redeveloping their pitches, club houses, and facilities.

In overall terms, 2025 delivered a combined Association surplus of €9.9m. This number includes Central Council, the Provincial Councils, County Boards, and also includes the Páirc Uí Chaoimh Stadium company.

33 county boards (including London GAA) recorded a collective surplus of €6.5m, which was an increase of €2.8m on 2024.

Collectively, the annual income of counties increased by 12% to total €112m. Gate receipts for county club championships increased by €2.8m to €19m, highlighting the strength of our games at local level.
