GAA+  works with partners across Ireland’s long‑term care system to ensure older people in care can stay connected to the games they love.

Through its now 3 year partnership with Nursing Homes Ireland, GAA+ provides free season pass access to over 30,000 residents and staff in HIQA‑registered private and voluntary nursing homes nationwide, delivering 40 live championship games and extensive on‑demand coverage each season.

Building on the success of last year’s initiative, GAA+ has also renewed its partnership covering all centres of care for older people across the country's six HSE Health Regions and providing an estimated 5,000+ patients and staff free access to their games.

NHI members will be receiving their access codes from the organisation via email a week ahead of the first matches on the service for 2026 (April 11/12th) while locations on the HSE side who are not signed up already are encouraged to contact their health region's Services for Older Persons representative who will share access details with them then.
