Andrew Ormond followed up his impressive showing against Clare with another great performance against Waterford. The centre-forward scored three points from play, won a number of vital frees, and created many opportunities for his team-mates.
Martin Kavanagh – Carlow
Martin Kavanagh was in red-hot form for Carlow in their vital Joe McDonagh Cup victory over Westmeath. The classy forward scored a whopping 3-12 as he proved lethally accurate from both placed balls and open play.
