GAA.ie Footballer of the Week nominees

Lachlan Murray, Diarmuid Murtagh, and Paul Conroy are this week's nominees for GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

Lachlan Murray (Derry)

It was a dramatic Saturday evening in Castlebar as Derry eventually edged Mayo out of the All-Ireland SFC. Lachlan Murray was one of Derry's stars in the game, clipping five points for Mickey Harte's outfit.

Diarmuid Murtagh (Roscommon)

The accomplished Diarmuid Murtagh was an influential figure as Roscommon defeated Tyrone in the All-Ireland SFC. The St Faithleach's clubman struck four points as Roscommon triumphed in Omagh.

Paul Conroy (Galway)

St James' clubman Paul Conroy continues to inspire the Galway senior footballers. On Saturday at Pearse Stadium Conroy drilled over three points and was outstanding once more for Pádraic Joyce's team.
