It was a memorable Sunday afternoon at Croke Park for Louth as captain Sam Mulroy led by example in a dramatic Leinster SFC Final win over neighbours Meath. Murloy scored 1-7, including a crucial late two pointer from a free, as Louth prevailed at GAA headquarters.

Michael Murphy (Donegal)

Another thrilling Ulster SFC Final at St Tiernach's Park brought entertainment with the decorated Michael Murphy influential for Donegal. The Glenswilly clubman made a welcome return to senior inter-county football in 2025, demonstrating his class once again in Clones.

Luke Loughlin (Westmeath)

One of the form players in the country, Luke Loughlin remarkably scored 1-17 in Westmeath's Tailteann Cup win over Antrim. The brilliant Westmeath forward clipped five two pointers, including three from play as the midlanders' impressed.
