Finbarr Roarty voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week

Finbarr Roarty has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Donegal star received 5,159 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Galway's Rob Finnerty (3,464) and Mayo's Ryan O'Donoghue (3,201).

Following a brilliant breakthrough campaign, Finbarr Roarty continues to make an impact for Dongeal. Roarty drove forward to supply three points for Jim McGuinness' team against Kerry on Sunday.

Rob Finnerty (Galway)

Galway secured a valuable victory over Armagh on Saturday evening with Rob Finnerty creating and scoring impressively. The classy Salthill-Knocknacarra forward finished with a 1-6 haul.

Ryan O'Donoghue (Mayo)

It has been a hugely encouraging start to 2026 for Mayo with Ryan O'Donoghue relishing the centre forward role. O'Donoghue excelled for Mayo against Dublin, clipping five points.
