As you can see from the video above this article, the construction of Louth GAA’s new county grounds in Dundalk is a very encouraging work in progress.
Fundraising to support the project continues apace through the Field of Fortune draw which started last November and will continue until August when the main draw for a prize of €200,000 takes place.
The second prize is a car to the value of €25,000 and the third prize is a travel voucher from Clinton Travel for €10,000.
From April 20th, weekly draws for €1,000 will also take place until June 22nd.
Tickets for the Field of Fortune fundraiser can be purchased for €50 each on www.fieldoffortune.ie.
“It's very important that we continue to support the project in that there is a funding factor involved and we need to get in behind it and try and make this stadium as debt free as we can when it's finished so as to not impact upon the development of games within the county which are going very well at the moment,” says Louth Stadium Committee Chairperson, John Horan.

“When phase one of this stadium is complete we'll have a fully operational stadium.
“The part of the development of the stadium in regard to phase two is very much dependent on LSSIF funding from the government.
“So we will be hoping that Louth will be prioritised in the next phase of that from the government and that along with the fundraising going on within the county will get the second phase of this stadium up and complete.
“It's very important that people within the county and those outside the county that could support as well get behind the fundraising activities going on within the county at the moment.”
