The public has voted Dean Healy this week’s GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.
The Wicklow midfielder received 1,403 votes on the GAA's official Instagram page which put him ahead of Antrim’s Ruairí McCann (1,092) and Laois’ Mark Barry (1,083).
Dean Healy (Wicklow) – Dean Healy was superb for Wicklow in their Tailteann Cup preliminary round quarter-final victory over Leitrim. He scored four points from play and created many opportunities for others too.
Ruairí McCann (Antrim) – Antrim faced stiff resistance from London in their Tailteann Cup preliminary round quarter-final and were thankful for the clinical finishing of Ruairí McCann who scored two goals that were crucial to their hard-fought victory.
Mark Barry (Laois) - Laois were pushed hard by New York in their Tailteann Cup preliminary quarter-final and were thankful for the cool finishing of Mark Barry who scored 0-3 from play to steer them to victory.
