Darren McCurry has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.
The classy Tyrone forward received 3,389 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Meath's Mathew Costello (2,915) and Monaghan's Micheal Bannigan (2,376).

Darren McCurry (Tyrone)
Tyrone produced a defiant display to overcome Donegal at Páirc Seán MacCumhaill. Donegal had plenty of influential figures, but McCurry was a potent threat throughout, finishing with a 0-7 haul for Malachy O'Rourke's outfit.
Mathew Costello (Meath)
The in-form Mathew Costello starred in Meath's vital Páirc Tailteann win over Cork. Costello scored five points, including four from play, for the Royals.
Micheal Bannigan (Monaghan)
A high scoring encounter unfolded between Monaghan and Louth with Micheal Bannigan excellent. Monaghan were primed for a battle with Bannigan contributing 0-6.
