Darragh Fitzgibbon has been voted GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.

The Cork star received 4,689 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Limerick's Peter Casey (2,230) and Waterford's Reuben Halloran (2,164).

Another dynamic Darragh Fitzgibbon performance was a key factor in Cork's Allianz Hurling League Division 1A win over Tipperary at SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh. Fitzgibbon clipped seven points, including six from play, for Ben O'Connor's in-form team.

Peter Casey (Limerick)

It was a satisfactory Sunday for Limerick at TUS Gaelic Grounds as Peter Casey rifled over five points from play against Kilkenny. Casey was a potent attacking threat throughout.

One of the features of the Allianz Hurling League so far has been Reuben Halloran's accuracy for Waterford. On Sunday, Halloran scored 1-12 as the Deise defeated Offaly.
