Colm Basquel has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Dublin forward received 2,962 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Kerry's Joe O'Connor (2,678) and Fermanagh's Garvan Jones (1,220).

Dublin cruised to an emphatic Allianz Football League win over Tyrone at Croke Park with Colm Basquel excellent in attack. The Ballyboden St Enda's clubman registered 2-3 for the All-Ireland champions, who secured a place in next Sunday's Division One decider.

Joe O'Connor (Kerry)

It has been an encouraging Allianz Football League campaign for Joe O'Connor, who starred in Kerry's victory over Galway at Fitzgerald Stadium. O'Connor's energetic midfield performance was a key factor in the Kingdom's success.

Garvan Jones (Fermanagh)

Ultimately, Fermanagh ended up relegated from Division Two of the Allianz Football League, but Garvan Jones delivered a brilliant display against Cavan on Saturday evening. Jones scored 1-8, including 1-7 from play, in the triumph over Cavan.
