Meetings of An Coiste Bainistíochta and Ard Chomhairle took place last night and today respectively.
Arising from correspondence received from Coiste Chontae Thír Eoghain, both Ard Chomhairle and Coiste Bainistíochta revisited the issue of the Association’s partnership with Allianz.
Following a comprehensive discussion, it was overwhelmingly agreed to endorse the decision taken last December to adopt the recommendation of the Ethics and Integrity Commission report and to maintain this partnership.
Among the other decisions were:
• A draft of the 2027 Master Fixture Plan was circulated to counties for review. A final Master Fixture Plan will be presented at the October meeting.
• Applications for SuperValu Páirc Uí Chaoimh to host an International Women’s World Cup qualifier: Ireland v Kazakhstan on October 13 and Rugby Champions Cup game: Munster v Racing 92 on October 17 were approved.
• Ard Chomhairle approved updates to the Association’s Child Safeguarding Policy.
