Meetings of An Coiste Bainistíochta and Ard Chomhairle took place last night and today respectively, and the following decisions were taken:
• The allocation of winners’ medals to the All-Ireland senior champions to be increased from 26 to 35
• Sanctioning of inter-county tournaments at inter-county level to be permitted in hurling and football up to and including U16 and at U19 age grades
• It was agreed to allow sponsorship branding on match balls subject to Ard Chomhairle approval
• A new draft constitution for Rounders was approved
• It was agreed to consider motions referred to Ard Chomhairle relating to sponsorship within the Association to be discussed at the next meeting of An Coiste Bainistíochta
• Ard Chomhairle approved the accounts of Páirc an Chrócaigh Teo
• It was agreed to submit to congress a motion that would allow for a replay in Provincial Senior Football Championship Finals, if level after extra-time
• Permission was granted to Derry GAA to allow the temporary use of Celtic Park by Derry City FC between April and May 2026
• Permission was granted to Cork GAA to allow Páirc Uí Chaoimh to host a Women’s Nations League game between Ireland and the Netherlands in June.
• Ard Stiúrthóir Tomás Ó Riain delivered a presentation giving an update on the continuing progress towards integration with Camogie and Ladies Football
