The Galway forward received 4, 953 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Clare's Tony Kelly (4, 832), and Mark Rodgers (2, 722).

Tony Kelly (Clare)

Tony Kelly starred as Clare cruised to an emphatic win over Dublin on Saturday. The Ballyea star struck 3-4 for Brian Lohan's team, who will now face Kilkenny at the penultimate stage.

Mark Rodgers (Clare)

Mark Rodgers registered 1-11 as Clare impressed against Dublin at TUS Gaelic Grounds. Rodgers is showing his class at senior level in a talented Clare team.
