Ryan McHugh has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The Donegal star received 4,289 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Armagh's Rian O'Neill (2,881) and Louth's Conor Grimes (1,692).

Ryan McHugh (Donegal)

It went the distance at Celtic Park with Donegal eventually defeating Tyrone. Ryan McHugh drove forward throughout for Donegal as the Kilcar clubman impressed again.

Rian O'Neill (Armagh)

Rian O'Neill was an inspirational figure for Armagh against Down in the Ulster SFC at St Tiernach's Park on Saturday. When Armagh required scores and leadership, O'Neill delivered with three points.

Conor Grimes (Louth)

These are exciting times for Louth with the industrious Conor Grimes contributing a dynamic display against Kildare in the Leinster SFC at Croke Park. Grimes landed two points from play and helped to create other scores for his colleagues.
