Sunday October 8

Leitrim SFC Final**

Glencar-Manorhamilton v Mohill, Pairc Sean MacDiarmada, 3.30pm

Pairc Sean MacDiarmada provides the ideal backdrop for Sunday's Leitrim showpiece.

Glencar-Manorhamilton, under the impressive stewardship of Aidan Rooney, enter their third County Final in a row.

Mohill beat them by a point following a replay in 2015, so there is some recent history involving the teams.

Ronan Kennedy's dramatic goal earned Mohill a famous victory on that occasion.

This will be Glencar-Manorhamilton's eighth final in a decade, but they haven't claimed silverware since 2011.

Longford SFC Final

Abbeylara v St Columba's, Mullinalaghta, Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, 4pm

The neighbours collide in the Longford SFC Final again.

In 2016 St Columba's, Mullinalaghta eked out a victory and another intriguing encounter is expected.

Considering the two clubs play together in the juvenile ranks for Northern Gaels, both camps will be very familiar with one another.

David McGivney is a sharp footballer for the holders, who know that they will have to restrict the efficient Robbie Smyth from Abbeylara.

Stephen Cooney, Castlerahan, in action during the 2016 Cavan SFC Final replay.

Carlow SFC Final

Eire Og v Rathvilly, Netwatch Cullen Park, 3.45pm

Eire Og won five Leinster titles in the 90s and are searching for a first Carlow crown since 2012.

That is a significant spell without silverware for them, but they face a Brendan Murphy inspired Rathvilly.

Murphy was excellent for Rathvilly scoring three points from play in their 0-12 to 0-10 win over Old Leighlin.

Darragh O'Brien's goal was the vital moment during Eire Og's 1-12 to 1-7 triumph over 2015 and 2016 winners Palatine.

Cavan SFC Final

Castlerahan v Cavan Gaels, Kingspan Breffni, 3.30pm

A decent crowd will gather at Kingspan Breffni on Sunday searching for answers.

Can Castlerahan finally deliver a Cavan SFC crow? How will the Gaels fare on their return to the showpiece.

Castlerahan have been beaten in three finals since 2011, including the last two.

The Gaels emphatically defeated Castlerahan six years ago, but a much tighter contest is anticipated.

Between 1998 and 2014 Cavan Gaels contested 15 finals, winning nine.

Paul O'Connor, Seanie Johnston, and Martin Dunne combined to score 2-7 against Kingscourt in the semi-final.

Cian Mackey remains a vital player for Castlerahan and notched six points against Ramor United. A similar may be necessary this weekend.
