Kerry's Dara Moynihan has been voted GAA.ie Footballer of the Week.

The promising Kerry wing forward earned 6,450 votes on the Official GAA Instagram page with Mayo's Ger Cafferkey second, and Kilcummin's Kevin McCarthy third.

A talented crop of Kerry footballers are emerging with Dara Moynihan one of the stars of Saturday's thrilling win over Dublin at Austin Stack Park.

Moynihan mined a couple of points, but his energy and application were a real feature during an accomplished Kerry performance.

Ger Cafferkey contributed a splendid display as Mayo maintained their impressive Allianz Football League Division One start with a third win on the spin against Cavan.

At Elverys MacHale Park on Saturday evening Cafferkey demonstrated why he is so highly rated by Mayo boss James Horan.

Kilcummin were inspired by Kevin McCarthy in Saturday's AIB All Ireland Intermediate Final at Croke Park.

McCarthy was in brilliant form scoring 3-7 as the Kerry club claimed glory.
