The public has voted Rory O’Connor the GAA.ie Hurler of the Week.
The Wexford sharpshooter received 2,131 votes on the GAA’s Official Instagram page which put him ahead of Waterford’s Darragh Lyons (1,362) and Tipperary’s Mark Kehoe (1,113).
Rory O'Connor (Wexford)
Rory O’Connor was simply outstanding for Wexford in their impressive Leinster SHC win over Galway. The inside-forward hit 1-6 from play and many of those scores were from the very top drawer.
Mark Kehoe (Tipperary)
Mark Kehoe produced arguably his best performance yet for Tipperary in their Munster SHC draw with Waterford. He showed great leadership throughout, winning a huge amount of ball, running hard at the Waterford defence, and finishing with four points from play to his name.
Darragh Lyons (Waterford)
Lyons was produced an all-action display for Waterford in their Munster SHC draw with Tipperary. The midfield dynamo hit a huge amount of ball, put in some big tackles, and scored a fine point from play.
