TJ Reid – Kilkenny

The evergreen TJ Reid produced another vibrant performance for Kilkenny in their very impressive Allianz Hurling League semi-final victory over Limerick. He scored a cracking goal, nailed all of his frees, and was also a very effective link man in the Kilkenny attack.

David Fitzgerald – Clare

Fitzgerald has been the best hurler in the country so far this year and produced another towering display for Clare in their Allianz Hurling League semi-final victory over Tipperary. He scored 1-3 from play and won a huge amount of ball.

Aaron Dunphy – Laois

Aaron Dunphy was very much to the fore for Laois in their convincing Allianz Hurling League Division 2A semi-final victory over Down. He scored seven points, four of them from play, and impressed throughout with his intelligent movement and sure first touch.
