Bord Na Mona Walsh Cup Final

Kilkenny v Wexford, Nowlan Park, 2pm

In 2017 Wexford achieved Allianz Hurling League and Leinster Championship victories against Kilkenny.

Davy Fitzgerald has turned Wexford into a seriously respected force and they are busy preparing for Division 1A in the League now.

This Saturday's tussle provides both camps with another chance to assess ahead of a challenging spring.

Offaly produced a passionate performance when testing Kilkenny last weekend, but Brian Cody's charges still prevailed.

Nuggets of encouragement were available for Kilkenny; Alan Murphy struck the frees adequately, Richie Reid pinched five points from play, while Richie Leahy and John Donnelly also figured prominently.

The Cats are likely to field a similar starting XV for this decider and Cody will watch how the newcomers fare against Wexford, who proved too strong for Dublin.

Cathal Dunbar's second half goal altered the complexion of that game as Wexford embarked on a decisive burst in the closing stages.

Paudie Foley and Kevin Foley clipped seven points between them in the Dublin triumph. Kilkenny are next on the agenda and it should be another keenly contested affair.

AIB All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Club Semi-Final

Tooreen (Mayo) v Ballyragget (Kilkenny), Cusack Park, Ennis, 2pm

Tooreen will be hoping to cause a shock against Kilkenny's Ballyragget.

Four of the last five All Ireland Intermediate titles have been won by Kilkenny clubs such as Clara, Rower-Inistioge, Bennettsbridge, and Carrickshock.

Ballyragget will look to Kevin Kelly for inspiration in attack, while Tooreen will be prompted by dual players Fergal Boland and David Kenny.

AIB All Ireland Junior Hurling Club Semi-Final

Sylane (Galway) v Fethard (Wexford), Parnell Park, 3pm

This should be a competitive clash between two clubs eager to perform at Croke Park.

Fethard produced when it truly counted against John Lockes in the Leinster Final with Mark Wallace, Graham O'Grady, and Mikey Dwyer scoring heavily.

Sylane will be powered by the energetic Kevin Brady, who continues to supply wholehearted and all action displays.

AIB All Ireland Intermediate Hurling Club Semi-Final

Kanturk (Cork) v Middletown Na Fianna (Armagh), Newbridge, 2pm

A Cork versus Armagh joust in an All Ireland Semi-Final.

Kanturk feature Anthony Nash, Lorcan McLoughlin, and Aidan Walsh, who have all served the Cork cause with distinction.

Middletown Na Fianna, though, are a craty team, who came very close to landing Croke Park glory in this competition back in 2012.

Ryan Gaffney and the Carvills are very useful attackers.

AIB All Ireland Junior Hurling Club Semi-Final

Ardmore (Waterford) v Setanta (Donegal), Pairc Tailteann, 2pm

Setanta finally claimed Ulster Junior glory in November, but they now face a daunting task against Ardmore.

Bernard Lafferty and Kevin Campbell impressed in that triumph against Na Magha.

Seamus Prendergast struck 2-5 for Ardmore in their Munster decider win over Ballybacon-Grange.
