Allianz Hurling League Division 1A

Tipperary v Waterford, Semple Stadium, 7pm

David Reidy's last gasp goal eventually finished Tipperary's challenge in Ennis.

Jason Forde's free-taking and Noel McGrath's points from distance supplied moments of encouragement, but Michael Ryan has still altered his team.

That is what the Tipperary manager will continue to do this spring in an effort to integrate some promising underage talent.

Waterford thundered back after a poor start against Wexford, but were then flattened again by a couple of David Dunne goals.

Derek McGrath will be hoping for a brisk response on the hallowed Thurles turf.
