Saturday June 9

Leinster Senior Hurling Championship

Kilkenny v Wexford, Nowlan Park, 7pm

A gripping game beckons at Nowlan Park with a Leinster Final appearance the much coveted prize for the victors.

Wexford's superior scoring advantage means a draw would also suffice for them, but Davy Fitzgerald will be demanding a response following the loss on home turf to Galway last Saturday.

So too, though, will Brian Cody, who wants Kilkenny to show signs of improvement following their own setback against the All Ireland champions six days previously.

Kilkenny have mixed youth with experience so far throughout 2018, while some of Wexford's emerging talent have occupied key roles in the campaign.

Who will be the heroes this Saturday evening?

KILKENNY: Eoin Murphy; Enda Morrissey, Padraig Walsh, Paddy Deegan; Conor Delaney, Cillian Buckley, Paul Murphy; Conor Fogarty, James Maher; Martin Keoghan, TJ Reid, Liam Blanchfield; John Donnelly, Walter Walsh, Luke Scanlon.

WEXFORD: Mark Fanning; Damien Reck, Liam Ryan, Simon Donohoe; Paudie Foley, Matthew O'Hanlon, Diarmuid O'Keeffe; Kevin Foley, Shaun Murphy; Lee Chin, Aidan Nolan, Jack O'Connor; Paul Morris, Rory O'Connor, Conor McDonald.
