Hurler of the Week nominations

Jason Flynn (Galway)

Jason Flynn started and finished the Allianz Hurling League campaign for Galway by scoring classy goals.

On the opening weekend of action Flynn struck a brace in an emphatic win over Offaly and the talented attacker added another couple to his account at the Gaelic Grounds against Tipperary.

Flynn was a constant threat blasting two vital majors after the restart for a dominant Galway outfit.

Pacy forward Flynn registered 4-7 from play in the six matches he featured in for Galway this spring.

Sean Quigley (Meath)

Meath made a welcome return to Leinster Senior Hurling Championship action at Pairc Tailteann on Saturday.

Sean Quigley was one of the Royals stars during their excellent win over Kerry.

It was a hugely effective performance from Meath, who were competing at this level for the first time in 13 years.

Quigley impressed throughout for Meath finishing with a 1-3 total.

Neil McManus (Antrim)

Winning the Christy Ring Cup is Antrim's objective and Neil McManus produced a dynamic display against Carlow at Netwatch Cullen Park.

An absorbing match went the distance with Antrim eventually prevailing after extra-time.

McManus was immense for Antrim providing leadership and scores for the improving Saffrons.

A late McManus goal brought Antrim back level before James McNaughton landed a last gasp winner.
