All Ireland Champions Tipperary will face Cork in a 2017 Munster Senior Hurling Championship Semi-Final clash.

The winners of that clash will face Waterford in a provincial Semi-Final, while Clare and Limerick, both under new management collide at the penultimate round in Munster also.

Tipperary star Seamus Callanan, who scored 13 points against Kilkenny in the All Ireland Final, is looking forward to the encounter. "It is great to be leaving here tonight with a focus, after the last few weeks following the All Ireland people have something to zone in on," Callanan said following the draw.

"To get over the line, it was fantastic, but it is all over and done with now. 2017 is what we are looking forward to.

Kilkenny, beaten by Tipperary in last month's decider, enter the Leinster Championship at the Semi-Final stage and will play either Wexford or one of the top two teams from the Qualifier Group which includes Laois, Westmeath, Meath, and Kerry.

Elsewhere Galway face Dublin in an interesting Leinster Quarter-Final which promises to be an important early summer tussle.
