Next Saturday marks the return of All Ireland Qualifiers action in the Football Championship.

A busy two months beckon as counties will be eager to make a significant impact on the national stage. 

The provincial championship draws were made with an 'A' and 'B' side to each draw. Over the coming weeks teams will enter the Qualifiers at different rounds, depending on what stage they exited their respective provinces.

See below for how the All Ireland SFC Qualifiers system works and the dates when games will be played and draws take place.

Round 1A - Fixtures on June 18

Waterford v Derry

Louth v Longford

Wicklow v Laois

Sligo v Antrim

Round 2A - Fixtures on July 1 (Draw on June 19)

Pot 1: Four Round 1A winners

Pot 2: Mayo, Meath/Kildare, Clare, Tyrone/Donegal

*A separate draw shall be made for home advantage. Where two teams who have already met in a provincial championship of the current year are drawn to meet, the winner of the provincial championship game shall have home advantage. *

Round 3A - Fixtures on July 8 (Draw on July 3)**

This Round shall involve the four winners of Round 2A.

*Subject to avoidance of repeat pairings where feasible. *

*First team drawn has home advantage. Where two teams who have already met in a provincial championship of the current year are drawn to meet, the winner of the provincial championship game shall have home advantage. *

Round 4A - Fixtures on July 22 (Draw on July 10)**

Each of the two teams defeated in the Provincial Finals (Connacht, Munster) shall play against one of the two winners of Round 3A.  

*Subject to avoidance of repeat pairings where feasible. *

Venues determined by the CCCC. 

All Ireland Quarter-Finals (A) Fixtures on July 29/30 (Draw on July 23)

Each of the two Provincial Final Winners (Connacht, Munster) shall play against one of the two Winners of Round 4A.

*Draw is Subject to Provincial Final Winners avoiding defeated finalists from their own Province in this Round and to the avoidance of repeat pairings where possible *


Round 1B - Fixtures on June 24/25

Limerick v Wexford

London v Carlow

Armagh v Fermanagh

Offaly/Westmeath v Cavan

Round 2B - Fixtures on July 8 (Draw on June 26)

Pot 1: Round 1B winners

Pot 2:  Leitrim/Roscommon, Dublin/Offaly/Westmeath, Tipperary, Down/Monaghan

Round 3B - Fixtures on July 15  (Draw on July 10)**

This Round shall involve the four winners of Round 2B.

*Subject to avoidance of repeat pairings where feasible. *

*First team drawn has home advantage. Where two teams who have already met in a provincial championship of the current year are drawn to meet, the winner of the provincial championship game shall have home advantage. *

Round 4B - Fixtures on July 29/30 (Draw on July 17)**

Each of the two teams defeated in the Provincial Finals (Leinster, Ulster) shall play against one of the two Winners of Round 3B.  

*Subject to avoidance of repeat pairings where feasible. *

*Venues determined by the CCCC. *

All Ireland Quarter-Finals - (B) Fixtures on August 5 (Draw on July 29/30)**

Each of the two Provincial Final Winners (Leinster, Ulster) shall play against one of the two Winners of Round 4B.

*Draw is Subject to Provincial Final Winners avoiding defeated finalists from their own Province in this Round and to the avoidance of repeat pairings where possible *

All Ireland Semi-Finals**

August 20**- **Winners of Quarter Finals involving Connacht and Munster Champions

August 27 -Winners of Quarters Finals involving Leinster and Ulster Champions
