1.2 million Irish GAA fans across the country are being given the chance to win a seat in Croke Park for the rest of the All Ireland Senior Football and Hurling Championships thanks to Sure’s new ‘Never More Sure’ series, in celebration of the launch of its second year as Official Statistics Partner of the GAA.

The one-of-a-kind partnership, launched in 2016, brings an enhanced viewing experience to fans by providing unique in game statistics on screen and in stadium.

This season sees hurling star, Richie Hogan and Dublin football icon, Ciarán Kilkenny bring GAA pressure moments to life, inspiring the GAA community to have the confidence to prepare for the uncontrollables in the world of sport.

Because before every throw-in, tackle, goal and last minute point decider in a game, there comes tales of young dreams, training sessions, confidence boosting speeches, and family outings.

To win a seat for the season, fans nationwide are encouraged to play an online trivia quiz which tests their knowledge of historic pressure moments in GAA, after buying a can of Sure deodorant.

Peter Hatton, Head of Marketing Personal Care, Unilever Ireland, said: “For us, the GAA exemplifies a truly Irish way of life. The sports bring every town and village together in a way that no other games replicate.

"As Official Statistics Partner we want GAA fans and players across Ireland to be able to count on Sure to enhance this passionate player and fan experience even more, from the training pitch and the kitchen table to the championship game in Croke Park and beyond.

"We’re thrilled to be in a position to be able to reward someone with a seat for the rest of the Championship season, to experience each in-game pressure moment first-hand! We’re also bringing a new innovative partnership with national broadcaster RTÉ, where we’ll be providing real-time match stats analysis to screens across the nation.’’

Aogán Ó Fearghaíl, GAA President, commented: “Sure has now become an integral part of the GAA’s reporting on match statistics, enhancing the in-game encounters for all. We’re delighted to celebrate year two of the partnership today by giving more fans a chance to get closer to all the action for the rest of the Championships.’’

Sure is available in retail outlets across Ireland and the GAA partnership promotions and activity kicks off today.
