Sunday June 3

Munster Senior Hurling Championship

Waterford v Tipperary, Gaelic Grounds, 4pm

It has been a demoralising week for Waterford, who have suffered several nasty injuries.

Kevin Moran is also suspended for this key game with Tipperary, who recovered to draw against Cork following a shaky first half.

Tipperary made and earned a point at Semple Stadium, but they need a victory this weekend to maintain their interest in the Munster Championship.

Waterford, following their own loss to Clare, will be without several important figures, but Derek McGrath's team also require a positive result.

There is much at stake in the Gaelic Grounds.

WATERFORD: Stephen O'Keeffe, Shane Fives, Conor Gleeson, Noel Connors, Austin Gleeson, Philip Mahony, Jamie Barron, Michael Walsh, Mikey Kearney, Stephen Roche, DJ Foran, Stephen Bennett, Tom Devine, Patrick Curran, Pauric Mahony.

TIPPERARY: Brian Hogan; Sean O'Brien, Seamus Kennedy, Michael Cahill; Joe O'Dwyer, Padraic Maher, Brendan Maher; Ronan Maher, Billy McCarthy; Dan McCormack, Jason Forde, Noel McGrath; John O'Dwyer, Seamus Callanan, John McGrath.
