Sunday June 3

Leinster Senior Hurling Championship

Dublin v Offaly, Parnell Park, 3pm

Retaining their place in the Leinster Championship for 2019 is now the target for Dublin and Offaly, who collide at the Donnycarney venue on Sunday.

Dublin were unfortunate not to claim any points despite gritty performances against Kilkenny and Wexford.

Late on in those two games Dublin led before being caught out, but their mix of youth and experienced players have hurled well.

Offaly were reasonably satisfied with how they were moving even though Galway and Kilkenny beat them.

Last Saturday's heavy defeat to Wexford was a blow, though, and it will be interesting to see how Kevin Martin's panel responds.

Pat Gilroy wants to achieve consistency and ultimately success with Dublin so winning this match is critical.

DUBLIN: Alan Nolan; Paddy Smyth, Cian O'Callaghan, Eoghan O'Donnell; Shane Barrett, Sean Moran, Chris Crummey; Rian McBride, Jake Malone; Fiontan McGibb, Conal Keaney, Danny Sutcliffe; Fergal Whitely, Liam Rushe, Paul Ryan.
