Antrim contributed to a fine match against Westmeath last weekend, but the Saffrons were defeated meaning that they require favourable results elsewhere.

Despite being relegated from Division 1B of the Allianz Hurling League Antrim did perform well and feel that progress is being made.

That development would be boosted by securing another two Championship games so the home team will be primed for this encounter against Kerry, who enjoyed an encouraging success over Meath.
