Sean Moran (Cuala)

Sean Moran delivered when it mattered most during Cuala’s two epic games against Na Piarsaigh.

In the drawn encounter Moran’s last gasp goal from a free forced extra-time and the Cuala centre back was immense in the replay again.

John McGrath (Tipperary)

Under pressure following a brilliant start, Tipperary responded with John McGrath an instrumental figure.

McGrath struck 1-4 for Michael Ryan’s team and couldn’t be thwarted during an entertaining encounter at Croke Park.

Rory O’Connor (Wexford)

Promising Wexford teenager Rory O’Connor rifled over crucial points and made a huge impact during Saturday’s encouraging win over Galway.

Davy Fitzgerald’s charges made another significant statement by beating the Allianz League and All Ireland champions.
