Tyrone SFC Final replay

Killyclogher 0-20 Coalisland 0-6

By Kevin Kelly at Healy Park

Killyclogher became the seventh different winner of the Tyrone senior championship in the last seven years when they had an emphatic 14 point victory over Coalisland at Healy Park.

It was a game that the St. Mary's always controlled and it was as good as over for Coalisland after they lost midfielder Padraig Hampsey to a second yellow card only three minutes into the second half.

Killyclogher completely dominated the opening half and deservedly led 0-9 to 0-2 at the break. Tyrone attacker Mark Bradley put on an exhibition of scoring with half a dozen points to his name.

Bradley kicked the opening three points of the game, all superb efforts, before Tyrone colleague Tiernan McCann capped a 50 metre run with a brilliant score as well.

Simon O’Neill then got his name on the scoresheet before another superb Bradley brace inside sixty seconds left it 0-7 to 0-0 by the 19th minute.

A great block from Gabhan Sludden denied Coalisland a goal with Cormac O’Hagan opening Coalisland’s account from the resulting “45”.

Bradley landed another fine score with Conall McCann adding to their tally from a “45”. Coalisland had the final say of the half from Dermot Thornton but they had it all to do in the second half.

There was no let up from Killyclogher in the second half as they gave a brilliant display. Bradley took his personal haul to 0-8 with Tiernan McCann, Conall McCann and Simon O’Neill all on target.

Michael McKernan, Plunkett Kane and Stephen McNally had Coalisland points but it was only academic at that stage as Killyclogher won only a second senior championship title.
