Castlebar Mitchels claimed a fourth Mayo SFC title in five years last month.
Saturday November 4
Connacht SFC Quarter-Final
Castlebar Mitchels (Mayo) v Mohill (Leitrim), Elverys MacHale Park, 2pm
Castlebar Mitchels continue to deliver in the competitive environs of the Mayo Championship.
A fourth County title in five years has been secured; now Mitchels want to return to the summit in Connacht once more.
Mohill produced a storming second half display to defeat Glencar/Manorhamilton in the Leitrim decider.
Keith Beirne was sharp in attack, while Ronan Kennedy is another player who carries a threat for Padraic Davis' team.
With Paddy Durcan capable at driving forward from wing back and Barry Moran effective, Castlebar will also look to Neil Douglas and David Stenson for scores in attack.
Having claimed Connacht glory in 2013 and 2015, Mitchels will want to embark on a similarly exciting adventure again.
The 2014 and 2016 AIB All Ireland Club final losses hurt Castlebar deeply, but they remain a consistent and capable team.
Returning to the St Patrick's Day Croke Park stage is a burning ambition so Mitchels will afford Mohill the utmost respect.
