Allianz Football League Division 4

Westmeath 3-24 Wexford 0-9

Leitrim 2-16 London 0-15

Carlow 1-18 Wicklow 0-10

Limerick 0-14 Waterford 0-8

**Westmeath **sealed promotion back up to Division 3 thanks to a convincing 24-point victory over **Wexford **at Innovate Wexford Park.

John Heslin has been shooting the lights out recently for the Lake County and he was the main man again today, finishing with a personal tally of 1-10.

Wexford had already sealed promotion themselves to Division 3 prior to the game and took the opportunity to experiment with team selection.

Westmeath took advantage and the match was already over as a contest by half-time with Westmeath leading by 1-18 to 0-4. The two teams will meet again in the Division 4 Final.

Carlow produced a storming second-half display to record a convincing victory over neighbours Wicklow.

Trailing by three points at the break, Carlow were a different animal in the second-half and hit seven points without replay before a Shane O'Neill goal settled the contest.

Two first-half goals proved vital for Leitrim as they ran out seven point winners over London.

James Rooney and Emlyn Mulligan rose those two green flags for the Ridge County to help their team into a 2-11 to 0-5 half-time lead.

London fought back manfully in the second-half but they had left themselves too much to do.

There was one Allianz Football League Division 4 match played on Saturday evening as Limerick ran out convincing 0-14 to 0-8 victors over **Waterford **to record their third win in a row.

There was little between the teams in the first half as a surge just before the break from Waterford saw the teams go into the dressing-rooms on level terms at 0-5 apiece.

Limerick moved up through the gears on the resumption though, and with full-forward Danny Neville in fine form kicked seven points on the spin to clinch the win.
