TIPPERARY 2-15 OFFALY 2-11

LONGFORD 0-16 SLIGO 2-7

ANTRIM 1-10 LAOIS 0-11

Louth’s unbeaten run in Division Three was ended by Armagh, who cruised to a surprisingly convincing win over Armagh.

Kieran McGeeney’s team quickly seized control despite the first minute dismissal of Aidan Forker in Drogheda.

Ciaran McKeever and Niall Rowland bagged first half goals for Armagh, while Louth had Anthony Williams sent off.

Jamie Clarke sealed Armagh’s triumph with a third goal as the visitors boosted their promotion prospects.

Tipperary finished strongly to defeat a much improved Offaly at O’Connor Park, Tullamore.

Michael Quinlivan’s second half goal proved to be the key score as Liam Kearns’ side eventually overcame a spirited Offaly outfit.

The Faithful led 1-7 to 1-5 at the interval and moved further clear following a Joey O’Connor goal, but Tipperary remained composed.

Robbie Kiely had netted an opening period major for Tipperary, who move to joint top of the table alongside Louth.

Seanie McCormack was excellent for Longford, who secured an important victory over Sligo at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park.

It was a disappointing result for Niall Carew’s Sligo following two Stephen Coen goals in the midlands.

Antrim added two valuable points to their account beating Laois, who are now in severe relegation trouble, at Corrigan Park.

CJ McGourty’s goal was instrumental for the Saffrons, who were also helped by a late score from Conor Hamill.
